With the bloom of Battle Royale games, you must have heard of Warzone. The game is Call of Duty’s second take on the BR mode, except this one is actually remarkable. From the polished gameplay to realistic guns, one cannot sleep on this incredible Battle Royale title. In fact, the diversity this game offers does not make it seem like a BR at all. Despite the 150 player count, the gameplay is rather fast-paced and jam-packed with everything that made Call of Duty amazing. Still not convinced? Then keep reading.

Is it free-to-play?
Absolutely! The game is designed to be played on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and the new generation of consoles, for free. Needless to say, the franchise made a great move by allowing players to experience the game without any charges. Not only did this bring back the former fan base, but it also served as a fantastic strategy for marketing the full game. Therefore, simply download the game and try it out for yourself. Despite the free-of-cost tag, the game is nothing short of a AAA title.

How does it compare to other Battle Royales?
Personally speaking, Warzone is possibly the most polished Battle Royale out there. It possesses key elements of different Battle Royale titles while also excelling in some of them. However, calling it the best title would not be adequate, especially since the best game is subject to your personal preferences. Nevertheless, the game offers superb gun mechanics, visual fidelity, and fast-paced gameplay that most games fail to provide.

COD: Warzone offers several play modes, including the traditional yet revamped BR, plunder, and some event-based modes. The game did its own take on the BR mode, with the addition of several mechanics. The addition of respawning by winning the Gulag 1v1 is one such example. Though if you fail to win the Gulag, you can continue to spectate your teammates till they can buy you back for $4500. That brings us to the resupply station — an in-game shop you can access during a match. The resupply station allows players to buy killstreaks, player respawns, and load-outs. What better than wiping out teams with your personalized guns, right?

Furthermore, since the game is a first-person shooter, the guns look and sound phenomenal. If you have an interest in weaponry realism in games, then Warzone is definitely the game for you. The weapons range from Pistols and Assault Rifles to exquisite Sniper Rifles. The game has a system similar to Fortnite, making it possible to locate weapons with different rarities. The rarity determines the number of attachments the weapon possesses. Hence, this means you won’t be dealing with the hassle of re-organizing your inventory as you gather supplies.

Can you play with your friends?
Yes, the game is playable with your friends and family. Initially, the game was released with a cap of 3-man teams. However, the developers continue to refine the game and have made it possible to play 4-player modes as well. The server-performance is exceptional, with little to no network lag issues. But despite all these amazing features, the best thing about Warzone is its cross-platform support. Not only can PC players play with console users, but console users can also incorporate the use of a keyboard and mouse. This feature itself significantly diminishes the disadvantages a console player may face.

Is it beginner-friendly?
Although the game may seem complex on paper, it is surprisingly easy to learn. The mechanics are quite straightforward, yet work extremely well. The guns have some recoil, but it is nowhere near the difficulty games like PUBG and CS: GO offers. Unlike Apex Legends, you do not have to locate different levels of armor and shield cells. Instead, just gather armor plates and use them whenever the circumstance arises. Even better, players start off with a pistol and two armor plates on them, giving every player a chance of survival.
The guns are relatively easy to learn and master. As mentioned before, the weaponry feature allows you to customize your guns, enabling you to cover your weaknesses with a set of attachments. Also, if you purchase the full game, you will have access to all of your unlocked perks, attachments, and weapons. Too good to be true, right?

Is Warzone worth it?
If the answer still isn’t evident, then yes, it is worth getting. Warzone is undoubtedly a must-have for every first-person shooter fanatic. The game is free-to-play, offering unparalleled quality of gameplay. Download it right away, you will not be disappointed. And if you come to like the game, then aim for buying the full experience. The full game gives access to the campaign mode, different multiplayer modes from the classic Modern Warfare series, as well as co-op sections. Simply put, the game is a gold mine for fans of action-packed and adrenaline-fueled gameplay.
